We flew to Minneapolis and visited the Walker Art Museum first. then drove back to LaCrosse along the Mississippi River with Christy. While we were there we had a great time playing with the kids; soccer, baseball, trains, house, and a bunch of other stuff. One day we drove South to Iowa and Visited the Effigy Mounds Natn'l Monument. The kids did great on the hike (~ 2 miles) and we saw some neat stuff. It was a fun trip and here are the photos.

We visited Bandelier Nat'l Monument and hiked the main loop. The ruins here were amazing.

We did an overnight ride in New Mexico from Abiquiu to Ojo Caliente and back. The panniers were loaded to the top. A heavy load is not a good thing on a racing bike. It was sure unstable. The hot springs at Ojo Caliente were a bit disappointing. But, all in all, it was a nice ride. Here are the photos from the ride.

We met with Thomas and Stefanie for a ride in the Castle Rock Area. We started at their house and rode through Castle Rock to Franktown. Then, down South on Russellville road. It was a major wind ride!

We went to Kansas City to spend some time with the Jolley's. We visited the Nelson-Atkins Museum, Kemper Museum, and the American Jazz Museum... Played a bunch of games of Scrabble... Learned how to solder jewelry... Ate some great BBQ... and just had a great time.

We went to Ft. Collins for a weekend getaway and stayed in an old hotel in old-town. We did a great bike ride on the first day. From Ft. Collins, up to Horsetooth Res, then down to Loveland, and finally back to Ft. Collins.

Lori and I spent T-Giving in Santa Fe and took the time to drive out to Ghost Ranch for a hike. What a beautiful place. Here are the photos.
